Mariangela has over ten years of experience in leading licensing projects for e-money and payments institutions applying with the FCA. She has a proven track record in achieving successful authorisation for fintech firms with a background in technology, gaming and cryptocurrency. She has a solid understanding of compliance, risk, governance and financial crime obligations imposed upon regulated firms in the UK and Europe delivering workable solutions to clients in line with the regulatory framework as defined by PSD2, MLD5, JMLSG. She is also a certified privacy professional with experience in implementing global privacy programs in line with GDPR and e-Privacy requirements advising her clients on data protection as well as servicing as DPO.
